Lydia Roux founded L.R.C.T. in 1996.

The company’s name changed to GAUTENG TALENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS in 2008, with branches in Cape Town and KZN. Since it’s inception into the South African marketplace, the company has been at the forefront of the call centre industry. Many South African corporations have benefited from Lydia’s expertise in bringing about momentous changes in their organizations. The company’s courses are highly recommended, making a positive impact on both the skill level of staff as well as on the morale and attitude of all within the organization. Managing a staff of many employees, Lydia is a dynamic mentor to many women.

Lydia has written numerous articles pertaining to the call centre environment. She has hosted various radio talk shows, and has been featured in television and radio interviews relating to Business Development and Training.

Lydia’s passion is the empowerment of women in business, and she offers courses on relevant topics. She is determined to ensure that women participate in all aspects in boardrooms. Her courses for women provide tools to improve skills and confidence, and to enhance women’s careers.

Lydia has served on various committees dealing with NQF levels and the Unit Standards bodies such as SETA’s and Chambers, and is also affiliated with APSO and SABPP. She has also served as Chairperson for the South African Institute of Management. In both 1999 and 2000 Lydia was recognized as one of six finalists in the “Mrs. South Africa Business Executive of the Year” Awards for outstanding entrepreneurship and business acumen. She was also a nominee in the 2004 Checkers/SABC2 Woman of the Year Award.
